A typo in a Lego set

A few days ago i was looking at some vintage instructions and i noticed that some thing was not right. So i got up and grabed the peice that was show in the instructions and the spelling for the instuctions were incorrect. I don't know if the spelling on the peice or the instructions are the right spelling for the word is dutch and i dont speak the language so I'm here to show you this amazing error in the lego set #1592 town square.
Here is the piece on the front page of the instructions
Here it is on the last page of the instructions showing the finished build and here is were the error is. Look at the work SOEP or as it is spelled here SOAP. If you look at the first picture it is spelled SOEP. On the actual piece in the set is spelled SOEP. Now Is this an error or is this intended? If lego headquarters is in a dutch speaking country how could they let this error slip by! I still love this set and would never contact Lego for this because this set was made in 1983. I think this is cool that I have found this small error. And that this is the only Unilever promotional ever made by Lego.

Here is the actual piece next to the error on the instruction
Here is a small portion of the set in my Lego city
